Is this Lundy or just a smudge? |

To my mind, the profile of the 35+ mile distant island due south of Tenby and Caldy Island is definitely that of Lundy. There is no other island it can be. The distance from Tenby to the northern tip of Lundy is about 35 miles. At the height the photograph was taken the curvature of the earth would not greatly reduce the height of the profile. Lundy is around 135 metres high. Hope this helps. |

Definitely Lundy My step-father was lighthouse keeper on the North light for several years and saw many interesting craft in the air as well as passing ships |
