Terminus for tram service 77 which ran to Aldersgate. Just under a year to go and this service will be replaced on 10th September 1939 by trolleybus route 677. However because of the difficulties with providing a turning circle there it will now run to Smithfield instead. Problems were also encountered here at West India Dock for the trolleybuses to turn but everything was sorted out in the end and a turning circle was provided in Ming Street.
