At this point in time- the General Motors vehicle assembly plant. It then became GM's 'Frigidaire' factory making refridgerators.
The building was put up in WW1 for Airco, for the manufacture of military aeroplanes.
It is now an ASDA supermarket. |

This could very well be the last remaining industrial building on the Edgware Road from the Airco 'empire'. Set back from the Edgware Road, on Grove Park, it's one of the few structures left relating to the area's aviation history. |

This site was Kingswood Kitchens until recently. It is now under threat , as with so much of the architecture of this area- with a property developer wishing to build on it. |

This large part of the Airco works, latterly used as a motor works and Phoenix Telephones, was demolished and replaced - with this currently derelict complex. |

This was until recently the 'Oriental City' ( formerly Yaohan Plaza) shopping mall. It was demolished Summer 2014. |

"Elm Lea", the electrical suppliers, is still standing, although Park Parade no longer wraps all the way around the corner onto Grove Park. |
