I know nothing about steam locomotives, the number on the side is 40541, when I googled it I found it exactly as you describe it in your comment (4-4-0, 2P-AC). There's even an old photograph of it from 1955 and to me it sure looks the same one. It's shed was Leicester Midland. See image EAW052685. |
