Your absolutely right John. 2nd Jan 1962 was the last day of operation for trollybuses on the Edgware/Willesden routes and then they were sent to the Colindale depot to be scrapped en mass. I can remember a few weeks later the strange sensation of seeing clear sky above where once there had been a spiders web of trolly wires. |
