 Kingsbury Green
This common land open space has existed since at least Tudor times (it is shown on a map drawn in 1597 for one of the main local landowners, All Souls' College, Oxford). It was finally adopted and improved by Kingsbury Urban District Council in the 1920's. The photograph attached, from the Wembley History Society Collection at Brent Archives, shows the Green, from Church Lane. |

High Meadow Crescent was Kingsbury Urban District Council's first council housing estate, with 24 homes built in 1924 and another 24 in 1925. |

This was the site of United Dairies. Express Dairies was opposite Kingsbury Station. |

I think that you're getting a little mixed up, Pom. There was a small Express Dairy shop opposite Kingsbury Station on the corner of Berkeley Road. The Express Dairy distribution depot was in Church Lane. |
