This is the south face of Ben Nevis. The runnels running down are those of Coire Eoghainn; the ridge to the right of image features Carn Dearg Meadhonach NN176726. The ridge running up to the summit is that of the NE Buttress. |

I notice some marks at the centre line of each side of this picture. Were these a development on the later cameras to add view finding or have they been introduced during developing/printing? |

Eureka I can identify this one. Just change the country. This photo is already identified and catalogued as SAW003582 Ben Nevis. I had to search on Ben Nevis for a similar photo when I found the number was the same! |

SAW003582 is said to have been taken in 1947. The english? photo is ascribed to March 1947. After verification perhaps the month can be added to the Scottish record, please. |
