This is the home on Windmill Terrace named Tall Gables, it has a number of levels including one below street level. I am trying to find the history of this house, a Family named Harris occupied it during my time in St Thomas in the 50s and 60s. I will upload a personal photo taken on one of my visits back to Swansea. It can of course be found on a Google map search. |

Brynsyfi House Windmill Terrace
Lived here from early 1950s until it was demolished during the 1960s. The spelling has always been discussion point with friends and family. My Father always used Brynsifi, this name also appeared on all documentation I have seen. The Welsh translation seems to like the Syfi rather than Sifi. |

No Jersey marine road? Not developed as this was before Briton Ferry bridge, and main way in and out of Swansea was through Llansamlet-Skewen-Neath. |

The Monkey Bridge was my way from Pentreguinea Road onto what was named The Potteries, a mostly cobbled surface road that the allowed access to the Strand and beyond. |

compared against photos on www.swanseadocks.co.uk it is likely that the dark building to the left of the pin running parallel to the railway lines is the Norwegian Church. |
