| Saundersfoot Station is about a mile from the village. Behind it the Saundersfoot Railway enters a tunnel of about 400 yards taking it out onto Kilgetty Common (out of view) thence on to small collieries at Thomas Chapel and Reynalton. |

| Route of Saundersfoot Railway. This 4 foot gauge line had two sections, this the upper section Bonvilles Court to Thomas Chapel & Reynalton; and the lower section Saundersfoot Harbour to Stepaside. They were connected by an incline. |

| Bonvilles Court Colliery (in part view). Both the independent Saundersfoot Railway and GWR Whitland - Pembroke Dock branch line served this the biggest colliery of the Saundersfoot coalfield. |
