Quarry (opened by Business man Soloman Andrews 1835-1908) where stone was extracted to build many of the houses on Pwllheli's West End. A horse drawn tramway was built from the quarry to Pwllheli to transport the stone and was later extended to Llanbedrog and used to transport the public to Plas Glyn y Weddw
