Founder Charles Vernon Pugh, born 1869 in Rotherham. In 1891 lived in Sutton Coldfield, founded the Whitworth Cycle Co. In 1894 director of Rudge-Whitworth and living at Penns. In 1899 chairman of Lanchester Motor Co 1902- chairman of C H Pugh Ltd In 1911 lived in Coventry. 1921 - died. |
