| Empty space where St. Georges Church now stands. What I knew as the Church Hall is behind it, perhaps it served as the church until the present building was put up. I went to cub scouts at the hall in the 1960s. |

| In the 1950-60s there was a great model shop in this block of shops - 'Beasleys'. I think it closed down in the mid-1960s. |
