LCDR/SER embankment, junctions and line spur. Built in 1926 for goods traffic to interconnect with the old SER line through to Ramsgate which had been closed under the LCDR embankment through to the former SER Margate Sands station on Marine Terrace road.

The final outdoor cage of Lord George Sanger's menagerie built in 1874 / 1882. This structure still exists, now stabilised and grade II listed. It formed part of the western perimeter wall and separated the LCDR railway embankment from the menagerie pleasure gardens. Next to the castellated cage there was a more formal box cage attached on the side, this remained in existence through the early 1980s however now only the foundation base remains. In 1990 the Bembom Brothers began much demolition and clearance of the original railway and perimeter embankments within the west area of the Dreamland site. Another castellated cage between the second folly (demolished) and the remaining 3 castellated cages was also removed at some point. The heightened section of the perimeter wall that it fronted remains as evidence, this is also true of another section further north of the site where the third outdoor cage would have been next to the first folly structure.

LCDR railway embankment/junction for the originally intended Sands station line. Built to compete with the adjacent SER station, the terminus building on Marine Terrace road was never used and Margate West which remains today was constructed further west in a new looped section through to the relocated Ramsgate station. The abandoned terminus became Hall by the Sea and founded the beginning development of the amusement park site.

The Skid ride

The old buffet building. Replaced in 1929 by a new art deco building designed by CFS Palmer which survives, in modified and poor condition. Restoration pending into 2018 by the current amusement park operator.

Lord George Sanger's indoor menagerie building. Unknown if constructed as part of the original operation from 1874, it possibly later replaced an original building. Documented to have housed 23 cages with the 4 corner conical roofs housing the larger animals. After Sanger's time, the building was reused and restocked as the 'New Zoo'. The structure is assumed to have been hit by a bomb in World War Two with the remaining ruins finally cleared in the late 1960s - early 1970s when the Astroslide was built on the site.
