' LCDR railway embankment/junction for the originally intended Sands station line. Built to compete with the adjacent SER station, the terminus building on Marine Terrace road was never used and Margate West which remains today was constructed further west in a new looped section through to the relocated Ramsgate station. The abandoned terminus became Hall by the Sea and founded the beginning development of the amusement park site. '
