Biggleswade War Memorial, dedicated on the 24th April 1921. In 1974 it was moved to its present location in a small garden in the middle of the Market Place.

George's Hall. Opened in 1912 and named after the Chancellor of the Exchequer of the day, David Lloyd George. Two shops occupy part of the frontage. The hall is home to the Liberal Club

This is the White Hart and is thought to be the oldest building in the town after the parish church. The other buildings were a maltings until the arrival of the railway in 1850.

Half the town was destroyed in a fire in 1785. It started in the yard of the Crown Inn, which I think is near the top of the High Street in this shot, not far from St Andrew's Church
