Lion Walk Church. The steeple (with damage from the 1887 earthquake still visible at the top) and some grave stones remain in the centre of the Lion Walk shopping precinct, but the church itself has been demolished. |

East Street, (near the level crossing).
I used to live here in the 1990s; this area is clearly on the edge of the town at this time, but has seen a lot of construction since. The hillsides beyond have disappeared under housing now. |
