Now Langney Road post office - this area was bombed in WW2 and it seems that rebuilding was in progress. |

The ground floor of the old Barclays Bank (corner of what was Junction Road and Terminus Road). It was destroyed by bombing in WW2. The ground floor was used as a temporary premises until the new bank was built. |

The Congregational Church that stood at the junction of Pevensey Road and Cavendish Place from 1862 to 1977. A flint buttress of the former church survives in Cavendish Place. |

Dunns hat shop at the corner of what was Terminus Place before the Arndale Centre was built. |

This was the Classic Repertory Cinema, which closed in 1965. It's just possible to discern the name above the entrance. Before WW2 it had been a news cinema. |
