| This wing of the old factory was used to store Government supplies and was also used by the Inland Revenue. It burned down in 1967(?) - people were singing 'the Tax Office is burning' in the street watching it burn. |

| The Morris Works in Gosford St. This was originally the Hotchiss factory and after the war became the main Ministry of National Insurance and Pensions office - later the DHSS. This part survives as part of Coventry University. |
