| Walker Ferry Landing with the smelly Bone Yard behind. My aunt Cecilia Rodger was living at Tyne View with her McNeill family and worked in the Bone Yard Office. She used to get the sculler boat back and forth each day. The man who ran it was nicknamed 'Charlie Sculler' . His real name was Stubbs.Photos on my www.oldtyneside.co.uk website |

| This was called Tyne View Terrace and housed three families. Formerly it had been owned by the Tennant's Chemical Works and their Chemist and managers lived there. My McNeill relatives lived in one part and had a tennis court, indoor bathroom/toilet and even a phone line left from when Tennants had it.
