 This was Walker Bone Yard & people in towns such as Hebburn often got the horrible smell of dead animals drifting over. Animal parts/bones were made into things like glue & bone meal for gardening |

| Hawthorn Leslies a famous shipyard in Hebburn. Lord Louis Moutbatten's warship HMS Kelly was built here. The Kelly story was in the film 'In Which We Serve'. |

| Tyne View Tec which used to belong to Tennant's Chemical Works. Where I've put the information Pin is the Tennis Court that the Tennant's people used. They had indoor toilets & bathrooms unlike other people in those cdays. |
