| Mount Pleasant Redoubt. Built in 1780 as part of the dockyard defences, it became redundant in 1860. It was used in both World Wars, in the first it housed a single anti-aircraft gun and in the second it was home to a different anti-aircraft gun and a barrage balloon. |
