It is recorded that somewhere near this marker, in the 2ndWW, was a single anti-aircraft gun.

Mount Pleasant Redoubt. Built in 1780 as part of the dockyard defences, it became redundant in 1860. It was used in both World Wars, in the first it housed a single anti-aircraft gun and in the second it was home to a different anti-aircraft gun and a barrage balloon.
