| No. 6 Great North Way: This was the house of famous comedy actor and amateur astronomer Will Hay. He lived here between 1935 and the late 1940s. His observatory can be seen in the back garden to the west. This house was demolished around 2013/14 and has (or is) being turned into an apartment block. |
