The brick Art Deco Guinness Power Plant under construction.It was commissioned in 1943 and completed in 1949.Designed by Francis Percy Mark Woodhouse (Guinness in-house architect) with Sir Alexander Gibb and Partners (civil engineers). It is still in use today.
