 It was here at Castle mill that the Glyn Valley Tramway had a siding running up this road to the Bronygarth lime kilns |

| The B4500 ordinarily had the Glyn Valley Tramway running along side it for most of its length. At the time this picture was taken the tramway was closed. It would have been on the far side of the road. |

 I have just found this Aerofilms image used on the back cover of a small publication, Chirk Castle: An illustrated Survey of the Historic Home of the Myddleton Family, published by The Pilgrim Press Ltd in the 1950s or '60s I guess (unfortunately undated). Shown is a shot of the front cover. |
