Note the extremely narrow football pitch, barely the then minimum 50 yards wide, used by Scottish League members Leith Athletic FC 1926-27 or 28, and the amateurs of Edinburgh City from 1931-34. The strip of ground next to the pitch is the course for the famous Powderhall Sprint. |
