| Queen’s Dock Pump house. The station contained a massive steam engine and boilers and a hydraulic accumulator. From this point high pressure water was supplied to cranes, capstans and a swing bridge in the vast dock site via many miles of pipes. After closure of dock the building was abandoned and became derelict before it was restored as a restaurant. It now houses the ‘Curry Karaoke Club’ – it’s all in the name! |

| Queen's Dock on the north bank of the Clyde at Finnieston, which eventually closed to navigation in 1969. Land reclamation works started in 1982 using rubble from the demolished St Enoch railway station. This is now the site of the SECC, construction of which began on the site in 1983. |
