This is the crossroads of the A68 and the B6400. The junction is much improved and staggered for the B6400. The A68 runs broadly North South and the B6400 East West |

The new suspension bridge opened 1999 - well worth walking over, as are the paths around Harestanes. In spring the woodland rhododendrons are simply magnificent. The cafe at Harestanes was ace when we visited a few years ago - some great cakes. Harestanes always makes a nice break off the A68 if you're on a long drive. |

Dear all, That’s great; we’ve reviewed your comments and thanks to your help we can update the catalogue. Great to see so many eagle-eyed users spotting landmarks. Hope you have the same success solving some of our other mysteries! Brian Wilkinson Britain from Above Activity Officer (Scotland) |

Shot is taken almost directly over Ancrum villiage looking East With Monteviot House in the middle distance obscured by trees. To the right of the house is the River Teviot. The A68 runs across the photo in the foreground in the avenue of trees from left(North) to right (South) |
