| Twyford Abbey. The Brent used to wind its way through these grounds. Then it was more or less straightened like a concrete trough from the Harrow Road to the Piccadilly line bridges. This aligned it with the new North Circular Road in 1934.
The Abbey gave its name to the hotel, a housing estate, an industrial estate, and the first road on the housing estate. |

| To the right is a single set of steel railway buffers. The buffers faced Heather Park Drive, so the rails would presumably have linked with the single line which ran behind the factories. |

| This is the only instance of a collection of garages for the Heather Park Estate. Perhaps 10 or 12 of them. I wonder if they were built over the experimental tank shown in other images? |
