"The Cannon" public house, 80 Queen Caroline Street. Although now demolished with the area completely redeveloped the pub was used in at least three films by local film studio's. The pub and parts of the local area in the early 1950's can be seen in Home to Danger (1951) Deadly Nightshade (1950) and No Trace (1950) Screen shots from those films can be seen on www.reelstreets.com |
