 Tramlines on Northdown Road. The Isle of Thanet tramways opened in 1901 and closed on 24th March 1937, a month before this picture was taken, hence tramlines but no tramcars are visible. No doubt the tracks were removed or tarmac-ed over shortly afterwards. |
