| P.B.Cow Rubber Factor
Stephen Wilson constructed a silk mill here in 1820. These buildings were the first purpose-built textile factory in London. The mill was sold to industrialist Henry Cow as part of his rubber factory. Rear view showing the factory yard. All the buildings at the Factory Square were demolished excepting the mill, to make way for a large Sainsbury's supermarket with car park. |

Don't think so - Leigh Court Road further along off the top of photo. I believe this is the milk bottling plant in Valley Road. (apologies if I later proved wrong!) |
