This was Oxford's GWR station, which is now the main railway terminus for the town. The building visible on this photo was still very recognisable, until its complete rebuilding in 1990. |

This, Oxford's LMS terminus, had fallen into a rather raddled state after its closure in 1951 - the area was still used as a goods yard. The building of the Said Business School on the site, meant that it had to be demolished in 1999, but it was partly reconstructed at the Quainton Railway Centre in Buckinghamshire. |

More exactly Rewley Road station, LNWR, providing trains to Bletchley, and one or two to Cambridge. Until the Said business school began to be built, much of the old station survived as a garage. |
