The Plough, Sutton Common Road. The original pub was damaged by a bomb on 26th October 1940. The surviving ground floor of the pub with a new roof was re-opened on 22nd February 1941 and was used until the current pub (now a Harvester restaurant) was built further back from the road in 1959.
