The so-called Horse Ring. This was the show ring for the Royal Agricultural Society Showgrounds, opened 1903 as a permanent venue for the annual show which had previously toured the country, an expensive business. After three poorly attended shows (1903-4-5) the society decided it had made a mistake, gave up its 550 year lease, and resumed touring the country. QPR moved here from Kensal Rise in August 1904, but moved a few hundred yards south in 1907.

Site of Park Royal Stadium, built by the Great Western Railway and leased to Queens Park Rangers from 1907 until the ground was requisitioned for military use in 1915. There was originally a full length grandstand on the southern touchline, nearest the railway station.
