During WW1, this was the site of an extensive hutted munitions works (National Filling Factory No. 7). These huts re possibly remains of the site, perhaps utilised by the developers of the housing estate as site offices.

I think by that time it had become a large canal depot which was used for maintenance and the transshipment of canal borne goods. There didn't seem to be much going on at the site in 1932.



The site of Bulls Bridge Depot is now occupied by a Tesco store.
