As 'Isleworth61' says the curved roof building is still there and it's the 'Jackaman' hangar named after the forward looking builder who constructed it...now a listed building. The two sloping roof hangars to the east are also still there perhaps slightly altered as are 3 more hangars to the east built a little later pre-war,see... http://www.flickr.com/photos/abuzavi/6687253037/ |

The hangar with the arc roof is the sole remaining building from Heston Air Park. The airfield site is now covered by a trading estate, the M4, Heston Services, a golf course, houses......... Cranford Lane is the road in the background, looking over towards where the Brabazon Estate is now. |
