Original site of Sander's siding private request halt, providing direct cross platform entry into the nursery. It was open by 1892, and was closed after 1906, being replaced by the current platform situated beyond the west end of Sander's siding and accessed from the Camp Road-Vanda Crescent footpath when the Salvation Army's Campfield Press staff were granted permission to use it..

Footbridge linking Sander's siding loading platform to the Orchid nursery, believed to have been installed with the siding in 1890, and removed in 1930s.

Electricity works.

Sanders Orchid Nurseries. Built mid-1890s, closed on outbreak of WW2. Reopened after this war, but moved off-site and the glass houses were demolished 1953.

Campfield Press, opened by the Salvation Army in 1901. Eventually demolished, and the area now occupied by Travis Perkins and a trading estate.

Camp Road

Bridge taking the Great Northern/LNER branch from Hatfield to St Albans over Camp Rd. Demolished early 1970s following closure and then removal of the track in 1969. Replaced with a modern footbridge to take the 'Alban Way' foot/cycle path over the road after several years of users having to use steps on each side of the road to come down to road level and climb up again.
