St Andrews Church. The British Listed Buildings website says:
"1860, by Thomas Talbot Bury
...
The church of St Andrew was built to serve the growing north-east side of Bridport. It was closed c. 1977 and sold to a private owner, and has since been used as stores and workshop." |

If you zoom in, you will see 3 unequaly spaced shadows on the right hand side of the sloping roof. These are cast by the roof vents which don't show up too clearly. Refer to the book 'The Bridport Branch' by B.L. Jackson & M.J.Tattershall, O.P.C. 1976. The top picture on the front cover shows the vents quite clearly. Built in Broad Gauge days, it should have been listed and preserved but the developers, aka the Vandals, got there first. |

The distinct crescent of “modern” houses to the left of the station appears to have changed little. The station, goods yard and track itself is all gone. |
