Turntable: removed along with engine shed, coaling stage and original GWR signal box in the 1930s. Third side of triangle at Tolcarne Junction reinstated at this time to allow turning of locomotives.

Original GWR Signal box in front of engine shed, replaced in late 1930s after engine shed and coaling stage removed to provide additional carriage storage roads.

Coaling stage, removed in 1930s when engine shed and turntable removed. Similar in design to Stratford upon Avon shed.

The old line to Newquay harbour, which closed in 1926. It was originally worked by horses, although a stationary steam engine worked wagons down a 1 in 4.5 gradient through a tunnel to reach the quays

This was second viaduct, replaced by the present two-track viaduct, which came into use after WW2.

I think the building stated to be a signal box is in fact a small coaling stage. I think I can see the ramp up which laden trucks would be pushed to discharge directly into locomotives.

If you look at EPW039803 you will see that it is a coaling stage.
