| Pool Street Methodist Church. For a while in 1970s it was Madeley's DIY store (as in ex Leeds Utd player) before being knocked down to make way for West End Motors. Site is currently a car park. |

| Primrose Diary. This building suffered a direct hit by a German bomb on Friday 7th August 1942 killing 16 year old Jimmy Tippett and 8 members of the Sergent family in the house next door. |
