Tram. Norwich had trams from 1900 to 1935. The tram system was installed by the Norwich Electric Tramway Co. (NET Co) a subsidiary of the New General Traction Company. The NET Co was bought by the Eastern Counties Omnibus Co and they closed the whole of the tram system down.

Castles were first built in England by the Normans after William the Conqueror invaded and took the throne in 1066. They were used to keep control of the country. They were added to and strengthened over time.
