In 1924 this works was still operated by the London General Omnibus Company. Perhaps many of these seemingly out of use open top "B" type buses are WW1 returnees from Army service overseas. |

The original two track District Railway route that in the west continued to Hounslow West, Ealing Broadway and South Harrow at this time.
Interesting to note that all railway routes in this 1924 picture have the 3rd & 4th rail electrification scheme. |

These lines are electrified for the LMS (formerly LNWR/NLR) service to Kew Bridge. that service ceased in 1940. |
