| The clothing factory was not run by the Co-op, but by a firm called Coops. It has been converted into flats, a foyer for young people, and offices. The small building beneath its top rh corner is Santus' toffee factory, where the famous Uncle Joe's Mint Balls are made. | lookingin | Wednesday 2nd of December 2015 02:04:04 PM |
| Can I add this link to Wigan Archive Service's info about the Coops Co. ? https://www.wigan.gov.uk/Docs/PDF/Resident/Leisure/Museums-and-archives/archives/CoopandCompanyLtd.pdf Thanks, Eddie | Eddie | Wednesday 2nd of December 2015 02:04:04 PM |
