 I think these are Pimlico Cottages - with their tall chimneys - situated on the A25 next to Nutfield Cemetery

 Top left in this picture is about where the Laporte fullers earth extraction pits were in the 1970's. Not sure which episodes but local lore said that there were a number of sequences filmed here. |

I'm pretty confident (95%) that this is Nutfield Priory just off the A25 between Redhill and Bletchingley. The lake is the right size and shape and the building (now a hotel & spa) has the distintive "spire" too. |

This is the rear elevation of what appears to be a Tudor or Stuart era house in the Cotswolds. It has a church adjoining and landscaped gardens in the style of Capability Brown including artificial lake. There are some more modern additions including a large conservatory / orangery. |

One other suggestion, could this be the "original" Manor House that, after extensive additions and remodeling in the same style, became the Selsdon Park Hotel in Croydon Surrey? It also has a crenellated Italianate tower of the same design, and the land slopes away from the building in the same way as in this photograph. |

Earlier house (?) with mixed later additions - some look Victorian such as the slightly incongruous Italianate tower. |
