My first home in Oxford. All the way at the top of the house.

This building was once a laudrette, and beofre that it was a cinema. Now it is a very high end hairdresser's.

Bill Clinton lived here when he was a Rhodes Scholar at the University of Oxford.

This is Park Town, one of the more desirable addresses in the city.

This house was demolished in 1969, and a block of maisonettes built, named Butler Close

Many of the houses in this terrace (as well as the terraces on the other side of the road) were built on the site of a former market garden/orchard. A few of the original apple trees are still in evidence. The houses were built by St. John's College, University of Oxford, and for many years were rented to College staff: scouts, butlers, gardeners, electricians, cooks etc.
