| Abbott Road. Was a major road in this part of Poplar. A short cut for lorries between East India Dock Road at Canning Town bridge and Brunswick Road. With all the fumes they belched out as kids living here we were always filthy at the end of the day! We lived in Dunkeld House on Abbott Road from 1961 till 1972.
