Very good detail of lime kilns (centre) especially when enlarged.Then the self-acting incline can be seen delivering stone to the top of the bank (for agricutural use)and to the left, stone directly into rail wagons for steel-making. That track passes under a dark structure which was the lift for coke to stoke the kilns with. |
