Part of a 2003 acre estate, including the village, the Edwardian Manor house is not a listed building. Bought in 1964 by the late Herbert Blagrave, who played cricket for Gloucestershire, trained 350 winners in a 50-year career as a racehorse trainer, and was a director of Southampton football club. He never lived at Linkenholt. The estate was sold as a whole in 2009 on behalf of the Herbert and Peter Blagrave Charitable Trust, set up by Mr Blagrave in 1978 for the benefit of the Injured Jockeys Fund and several children’s charities.
