'Crabble Top' pitch. Mainly used by the Dover Reserve team and occasionally by the first team when at the start and end of the cricket season when 'Crabble Bottom' pitch was unavailable. Dover Football Club moved to the top pitch permanently in 1951 where it has developed into a fully-functional football stadium for Dover Athletic Football Club, known as Crabble. |
