| Old Coach Road. This ran from opposite Wollaton Hall to Strelley. Some people think this might be the site of the first recorded railway in the world- Huntingdon Beaumont's line recorded in 1604 from coal mines at Strelley to "Wollaton Lane End" wherever that might have been. |
